As someone who has just recently moved to Austin, I looked at over 30 apartment communities before deciding to come back to the first one I visited...The Jefferson!!! The staff were welcoming the moment I walked in, followed up with me before I leased and have really gone above and beyond their duties to make sure I feel at home now that I am all moved in. I say this, knowing that I speak for numerous other residents who are completely satisfied with both the staff here and with JPI as a management company. PLEASE VISIT THE APARTMENTS AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. You will see exactly what I am talking about.

You are definitely part of the JPI propaganda campaign This complex is HORRIBLE!!!, staff lies constantly, treat tenants like crap and advertise service and amenities that are never available - but they will raise your rent and move you around for so-called renovations at your expense at the drop of a hat. So if you are a masochist ... enjoy!!!!

"so called renovations"??? Did u not move into an upgraded apartment? New carpet? New floors? New light fixtures? Let me know when I should stop. U are probably one of the low levels who barely got in due to poor credit or something. Don't hate on this community or it's staff. There are MANY things to be happy about here. Now go move somewhere else and start complaining there too...or better yet...take your bad credit and try to buy a house. And don't forget, just like I did when I moved to a renovated unit, u also had the opportunity to leave because it was at the end of your lease. . Why didn't u? And if u are unhappy with your newly renovated apartment, wouldn't u have realized that when u looked at it prior to moving in? Anyway, I say let people decide for themselves...then there can be no complaining.

Regardless of the renovations, they aren't that impressive! The show apartment does not resemble the unit I'm currently staying in. What about the missing base boards and glue residue left from a piss-poor job. They just finally caught up with what consumers want...which is great but that doesn't excuse the lack of management or price inflations. As a tenant I will not be renewing my lease and will be happy to leave with a smile on my face.
