Don't believe the fake positive reviews...find someplace else!

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
We lived in this complex for a year and are very glad to be gone. To be fair, there were a few positives: the apartment was good sized, the pool is nice, it's in a convenient location near the UT shuttle, and there is free covered parking.
Now the negatives:
-Pretty much right when we moved in, we noticed how cheap all of the cabinets and appliances were. The stove didn't heat evenly and warped all of our pans. Our refrigerator stopped working which resulted in all of our groceries being spoiled. The garbage disposal broke. Our windows stopped closing all of the way which meant we had to seal them with packing tape to keep a draft from coming in. The folding closet doors would not close all the way, even after maintenance "fixed" them. The towel bar fell off the wall and we were not able to screw it back in. Both drawers in the bathroom had the bottoms fall out of them. Et cetera.
-Maintenance is incompetent. It took three tries and two weeks for them to fix our refrigerator, even though we told them what was wrong. They'll also insult people in Spanish, thinking that no one can understand what they're saying.
-The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in apartments near you. We regularly had to listen to our upstairs neighbors being "intimate" and the neighbor next to us snoring very loudly.
-There is only one laundry room on site. We actually had to get rid of our washer and dryer prior to moving in since there were no connections in the apartments. The laundry room itself is pretty small and the washers were generally dirty and smelled moldy.
-We had lots of bug problems, especially spiders and *huge* roaches.
-The final and biggest reason why we hated this place: the front office staff. As other reviewers have noted, these two women are childish and seem to enjoy sending out condescending letters to people about every small thing they are doing wrong. They also like to impose little charges for *everything* (like a $30 fee for letting our dog run around outside without a leash...this is after he had slipped out the door and I had to chase him across the street to track him down). You can also forget about getting any sort of deposit back, since they are so nitpicky. I got the impression the corporation that owns the complex encourages them to nickel and dime people for extra money. If they want to keep people living here, they need to stop treating them like children and stop charging responsible tenants that pay their rent on time for stupid things. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
