Right now, I'm disappointed in this place

I am living here right now. I like the apartment-- the interiors are really nice, especially with the wood floors. And my neighbors are really cool. However, there are some very loud people scattered here and there, so someone could easily end up having a noise problem (my neighbors do); I just got lucky. My particular apartment is on the third floor and the AC units on the roof have been VERY loud and disruptive and the management hasn't fixed the problem. So after one month, I'm probably going to have to switch apartments, which sucks. My apartment is perfect, except for the noise, which is disruptive and keeps me awake. I'm not yet sure how they will handle my switching apartments, so, theoretically, this story could have a happy ending, but right now, I'm pretty skeptical. I'm also not completely satisfied with how it's been handled: this is a pretty big problem and they kept saying they'd take care of it, but they never did. This could be a nice place to live, if you got the right apartment, and I know people here who are really happy, but I would advise someone to be really careful about moving in. Right now, I would certainly not renew my lease and I definitely wouldn't refer a friend. That might change, depending on what happens from here.
