I agree I just wish that there was somthing more I could do besides just write a review this is probably the worst place to live not to mention they have raised the rent to fix up the outside and decieve everyone do yourself a favor save the headach of no management support, pitifull maintanence and just a terrible living enviroment unfortunatly its so hard to find a decent place at a reasonable price I feel Stuck Here For now

That really sucks. I used to live there and apparently, after a year and a half, the gate is still not fixed. I'm the one who posted the "maggots in my carpet" blog. I've been living somewhere else in North Austin for some time now and everytime I think of Lafayette Landing I just get sick. I later found out that the reason they never helped me with my issues is because they were selling the property so they basically didn't care what happened because they were leaving anyway. If I were you, I'd contact the Austin Tenants Council. If they are not living up to their promises or what the advertise AND if you don't feel safe, then you might have rights.
