The Negative and Positive

I have lived in this apartment before it was changed to Landry Place. I have seen improvements with the complex. The new owner care about the appereance of the apartment. But I have to agree with the previous reviewer, to wait before judging. This apartment caters to students, they even advertise it in apartment guide.. Student Welcome! I am a student myself, not trying to be against students. Summer is the best time to live at Landry Place. When Fall comes, the apartment can be very noisy. The walls and windows are poorly insulated. I can hear babies crying, couples fighting, people screaming for no reason, people getting drunk. I recommend not to live on the first floor because I can hear everything what my upstairs neighbor is doing. Sometimes my neighbor wake me up at 4AM in the morning. The 475 Sq Ft apartment is not that bad, is cozy! I have had 10 different neighbors.. sometimes i will get a quiet, caring neighbor.. other times i will get a neighbor who likes to party all night long ( like right now! very noisy!) the window in the bedroom overlook the parking lot so I can hear when my neighbors are entering their apartment, when people are chatting in the balcony. The new owner have fixed the water issue. I can still, however, hear when my neighbors are washing the dishes and taking a shower. The "water noise" can get really loud when someone is taking a shower. The walls in the bathroom are super thin, so please dont make out in the bathroom because your neighbor can hear it. If you want affordable and don't mind the constant noise then this place is for you. But if you are like me, who dont want to deal with neighbors who are disrespectful then don't move here.
