In the beginning...

This apartment complex started out being horrible. I had my car broken into; One of my girl friends was attacked outside my apartment building walking back to my place. (It was horribly lit.) I had to bug and generally pester the office staff to do something about this major safety problem until they added three lights around my building and had the security guard spend some more time around my area of the complex.
Since those first few months, the complex has done a decent job improving the living conditions. Painted the railings/buildings/doors and redone most of the parking lot. They also did a complete overhaul on the landscaping and re-wiring of the buildings. (They, do however, need to get the mailboxes fixed, as most of them will come right open with a good pull or something to wedge them open. I've even seen some of them left right open before.)
The only other major complaint, (besides the first two incidents), was that I had some major A/C problems in the first few months. I had my A/C unit replaced twice and two times before that, I was without any A/C during the summer for two or three days waiting for a maintenance person to come out and "fix" this problem.
Other than that, as long as I don't need to call on the maintenance, or deal with the office staff, it's not a bad place to live anymore. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone however. Nothing that will blow you away... but, there are places that are FAR worse.
