The management here is completely ridiculous, incompetent, and insane. I calculated our rent wrong, so we were $7 short. It took them a week to let us know, and by then they charged us a ton of late fees. All for $7! Completely irrational, especially with the economy the way it is. And why did it take them so long to notice' I spoke with someone who was two full days paying their entire rent and they weren't charged a single late fee. When I went in to chew out the dumb lady in the office, she said we were charged the late fee because my boyfriend was late paying his pet deposit...from 6 months ago! Really'' That's the reason you charged us late fees for being $7 short on rent due to a simple math error' How old are you'

The maintenance guy told my boyfriend that all of the ladies in the office are just giving us hell because they are jealous of my "appearance." They talk about me being "attractive" in the office to other employees. Very stupid and unprofessional. We are the only ones getting grief from these people. Some stupid thing always seems to pop up that could have easily been handled more rationally.

Also, our water went from being about $8/month to $25! When asked about it, the management said that the city read the meters wrong. So, wouldn't they owe us money then' And why is it still that much two months later' Hmmmm. Little fees here and there with no logical explanation add up. Shady.
Just save yourself the headache and don't bother wasting your time on this place. We are going to pay to break our lease rather than live here any longer.

wow. dumb blond? good one. that's mature. this isn't a personal attack forum. you must work in the office here. ha! i'm taking her side on this one. the water has been shut off more than five times in the past month or so. when that happened at my old apartment, they docked off part of our rent for the inconvenience if the water was off for more than a few hours. it was off here without any notice for over half the day right before christmas when i had family over. we had to take showers at my friend's house. my point is the staff shouldn't crap on its residents for petty things when they can't keep their own end of the contract together regarding bigger issues like the water.

I would have to agree with the first anonymous writer on how unprofessional the office employees are. - Maintenance crew is great though. We were great tenants and were never late rent but the individual in the office were bitter -------. That was the only knock I had on Landry Place.
