I'm just saying here lately the water is shut off completely once or twice at least a month for what seems like the past 4 months. Pretty tough when you're in the middle of a shower. They say its maintenance or repairs but I feel like its getting ridiculous. Should I assume all the other things that they do get the same attention and if so, are they going to break again in just a couple months'

Yes they will unless they get the main pipes fixed. I used to work there years ago and we had the same problem even then. Every week something would happen, and we'd have water off for more than 24hrs at times. The problem is that the property sits on rolling hills, so the pipes underneath will continue to bust unless they get it fixed. I bet the reason why they don't fix it is because they know how major a job it would be. It would mean the property to be without water for several days and $$$$$. Best bet, just move out and call it a day.

I have to agree it does have its downsides but I have rented for more than 20 years and no matter where you live there is ups and downs to everything. As long as I get some kind of notice if available I just make the best of it. I would not just move out you will have to pay to break a lease

I haven't lived here for very long but am already very dissatisfied. Is this really a common problem? I came home from work around 1am last night to a note on my door saying the water was shut off at midnight. I got up for school at 7. After spending all day in school, I'm home again (at 2pm) and need to be at work in 2 hours. Still no water. This is absurd! I have to go to work like this?? And what about when I have to get up early and go into work again tomorrow morning? Two days with no bathing? That is just embarrassing. I've rented apartments for almost seven years and have never had a problem like this! I work 40-60 hours/week and am also a full-time student. If this is a recurring problem, I definitely have grounds to break my lease.
