I have been living here for almost a year. Laurel Woods is a very safe and beautiful community with a genuinely caring staff. Contrary to what someone wrote, there have been no major problems here. Whether you live on ground or second level your safety is of utmost importance. That is because the staff including the courtesy officer will respond immediately to all concerns.
Recently I was a victim of a serious vehicle accident. Each of the staff was ready to assist me in any way needed including grocery shopping for me! That is genuine caring!

While living close to the festivities in the heart of the city would be nice, it would mean leaving a secure place and like leaving family behind. I think it would be much more noisy all of the time, too. The rules and guidelines are enforced here. If you choose to not abide by them, then you need to move where noise is allowed after a reasonable hour, and respecting other's rights is not paramount. There are some complexes that would welcome you.

At Laurel Woods you can be sure that the total staff will do their best to resolve any issue no matter how big or small.
