Having come from an affluent area in California I can say that Austin offers nothing special in terms of apartment complexes. This apartment complex, for the price, is the best that I have seen. It is clean, staff are friendly and understanding (and know all of us by name). I haven't tried to modify my lease yet, which I will have to do soon so I can't argue on that point. Compared to the other complexes in Austin where I know people (which are more like HUD projects with a few exceptions) Le Montrueax balances cost and quality nicely, as long as you're a responsible adult and pay your rent on time.
