When I moved in 10 months ago, we were having trouble w/ something in the apt. (Pilot light) I informed management, wrote the check & by the time I got back, it had been fixed by us. Because I am at the back of this ridiculously large complex they volunteered to destroy my check for me. A week later, it cleared my bank. It was eventually credited to my acct but this shouldn't have happened at all. Also, at one point my deposit on the cabana was misplaced for a couple days. Which I do have to point out that it was ridiculous to pay to use this... Yes it's nice, but no public access is not restricted.
Another complaint of mine is the noise. You can hear sirens & horns & trucks out on mopac at all times of the day & night. The walls are also poorly insulated. I consistently have a problem with noisy neighbors.
If you don't get home by 6 in the evening it is very hard to find a parking space. There aren't any designated resident spaces.
My only real problem with maintence has to do with my gate. About a month back it was stuck open for about 5 days. This morning is wouldn't open so we all had to go around to the middle gate.
Though I've been here since Feburary, the only neighbor I know is one I spoke with about noise. Supposedly there's a C.A.R.E.S. team but I never met them.

Yes, these are nice apts with gorgeous landscaping.... But there are so many better apts here in Austin for the cost of rent.
