I have enjoyed my time here at Legacy. Most of the complaints that I see repeatedly on this website are common throughout apartment complexes built in the 90's and sooner. Most apartment complexes are not built to condo specs, which accounts for the noise from apartment to apartment. If you are looking for a completely quiet living environment, buy a house or rent from an apartment complex that is built to condo specs.
I also think that the problem with the gates is common among apartment complexes. I have lived in many different complexes and the gates hardly ever work. Lots of people use the gates daily and they get broken and run down easily.
I think that the staff at Legacy is top notch. They are always incredibly courteous and professional.
I would recommend Legacy at Western Oaks to anyone who is interested in a high quality apartment complex.
