Legacy at Western Oaks

Nice, but noisy... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/13/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   The office staff was really nice with us and helped out imensly with a move from overseas. The apartment itself was clean and large and everything was what you would expect it to be. We had a ceiling fan to be installed and it was done within 2 days (the same when we requested it to be taken down when moved out into the house we had been built). We had really loud neighbors that lived diagonally up from us that did eventually get kicked out, but from what others said it took a long time for them to respond to the constance partying/noise. Also, on a morning our upstairs neighbors left pretty early and it's partly the neighbors fault for wearing her heels while walking around the kitchen, but that would wake us up around 5 in the morning pretty often. Our apartment was close enough to Mopac to see it from our window and that could get pretty noisy on a night with trucks braking at Slaughter. Parking was awful. If you weren't home by 4:30 on a weekday afternoon then you had a long walk from your car. Great community for dogs and most owners seemed pretty responsible. Overall, it's a nice community if you can put up with the noise.
