We've been living here for a little less than a year and will probably stay here until we can afford a house.

PARKING - we never have a problem. A lot depends on the location, of course, some areas are busier than others, but I never had a problem parking very close to our flight of stairs.

NOISE - In our case, we really lucked out with neighbors, who are all very quiet. But sometimes, when walking the dog late at night, I can hear music blasting from some apartments, and I always feel lucky that they are not my neighbors. So before you rent, come a few times in the evening and walk around. See what the noise level is in that particular building.

GROUNDS - Very well maintained, I think. Loud and annoying landscapers come twice a week, mow the grass, trim bushes, etc. Both pools are always very clean. I see maintenance guys there every morning fishing out leaves and cleaning up.

SAFETY - We have a child and I always feel very safe. This is the reason we moved here: safety. So far I haven't seen or heard of anything. *knock on wood*

CONSTRUCTION - I absolutely love the inside of these apartments. Just little details like a wine rack, track lighting, very soft plushy carpet, new looking appliances, all these little things make a difference. Definitely not your average boring apartment. It kind of has that clean feeling to it. May be because of the white kitchen cabinets, I don't know. Of course, if you have very loud neighbors, you WILL hear them through the wall. This is an apartment, not a house in the country. So set your expectations accordingly.

MAINTENANCE - These guys work hard, they come to fix your stuff fast, and they fix it well. I had to call for a broken dishwasher, they were here within an hour. Also, when we first moved in, I was very detailed (as always) in my "defects" report.. You know, the one you fill out during move in to let them know of any imperfections so you won't get charged when you move out' I was very thorough only to make sure I don't have to pay anything when I move out, because I didn't know how picky those guys were. So guess what, the next day after I gave them that report, a maintenance crew shows up and fixes those little things. For example, I had a tiny indent in the linoleum floor (which could also be caused by us moving in the washer and dryer, who knows). So the maintenance replaced that tile. Things like that.

STAFF - I try to mostly deal with the leasing agent who showed me around the first time, because I completely adore her, and those who met her know who I am talking about. It seems like she knows all residents from all 31 buildings. Seriously. She knows them by name, remembers previous conversations, and is just really pleasant to be around. She is one of the most positive and sincere people I have ever met.

OVERALL, this is a great place to live. I recommend it to all my friends who are looking for an apartment.
