I lived at Legacy for 6 months while waiting to purchase a home and found the overall experience to be less than promised. "Luxury Apt. Living" is such a misnomer..there is absolutley nothing luxurious about Legacy except maybe for the clubhouse and it's really nice but...they skimped on things such as insulation, landscaping, quality materials, etc...things that actually could make it a luxury place.
Noise issues were many..I was in a 2nd floor corner unit and the noise from the guy upstairs was ridiculous...if it wasn't his bass speaker it was loud phone conversations, slamming doors ( intenetional or not), bedroom AND bathroom noises ( not all of them were pleasant either)...I called the office numerous times only to be met with complacency; I did call APD several times when the music was out of control after midnight on weeknights but don't know that anything was ever done.
I noticed on an earlier posting that a car was vandalized; my Nissan was broken into while parked inside the gates...the passenger front window was shattered and glove box rifled thru...CD's missing...a police report was filed but it was "non-issuewith the office as they are not responsible for personal property". The office DID say they would increase security patrols but that's a joke since the slightly overweight rent-a-cop had a hard enough time just responding to simple matters.
I would never recommend this community which is a shame; the area is beautiful and convenient...do yourself and look elsewhere.
