To clarify...

I've been living here almost two years and my only complaint so far are the water issues, especially this last month. It was very inconvenient, to say the least, to wake up to no water and have to go to work dirty. However, I can say that they had the water back on the same day when they did have a problem, and they were at least nice enough to leave jugs of water beside our apt doors for us. One of the leaks I could observe outside my apartment and the poor maintenance guys were there all day and til after 2am fixing it for us. I have several friends in different apartment communities in South Austin and they have experienced a couple problems with the water this summer too so I realize this isn't just a problem with Lexington Hills. I read the other reviews on here and just thought I needed to clarify and add my input on the water issues as well. I get tired of reading ratings on here that are only half-true and exaggerated. (When I read these to decide on an apt, I like knowing ALL the facts, not just someone skimming on details cuz they are pissed off because they were late and had to pay the late fees. lopezjl137) I can also say that the office staff has always been more than helpful when I have had a problem. I recently renewed my lease and I really like the fact that it didn't increase and I got a discount for later. That really helped out alot. I also appreciate the recent changes they have been making to the property. (i.e, tree trimming, and new low-flow toilets). HOWEVER, I would really like to see the holes in the parking lots fixed from the repairs they made to the pipes. It is very inconvenient to have to drive around them and the parking in front of my building is a little scarce now.

First of all, I never said I read YOUR review when I was checking this place out. I was saying that people in general shouldn't have to read half-true, exaggerated postings when THEY are looking for an apt. How rude are you to cuss at someone you don't know for merely remarking on what YOU wrote. YOU were OBVIOUSLY pissed off because you had to pay the $50 late fee. AND it shows you lived here for 4 years so it must not have been as bad as you say, if you stayed that long. Furthermore, I never said this place was perfect, so maybe you should re-read my posting. To quote from MY posting, "HOWEVER, I would really like to see the holes in the parking lots fixed from the repairs they made to the pipes. It is very inconvenient to have to drive around them and the parking in front of my building is a little scarce now." AND "my only complaint so far are the water issues, especially this last month. It was very inconvenient, to say the least, to wake up to no water and have to go to work dirty."
