I have to agree with the gate being broke all the time. You call and inquire about when it is going to be fixed and they just say a part is on order. I'm sure we are paying extra for the "gated community", we should get a discount. When I first moved in, they did not have gate openers for me. I kept asking when I would receive them, and they kept saying they had to order new ones. Finally, one day I went to see if they got my "new" gate openers in and they said yes....they proceeded to hand me some worn out, one was literally broken, gate openers. My husband had to glue one together. When I first moved in, I was excited because the apartment itself was really nice, not totally clean upon move in, ut it was nice. Then people moved above me and we could literally hear everything they did even if it was just walking across their living room. So, it is not very sound proof. The most recent experience was a drug bust or something of the sort. I thought I was living in a nice, quiet and safe community, and then next thing you know the swat team comes. The very next day some people were moving out of that apartment and I believe the cops took someone with them when they left. That is not very safe if you ask me. Anyway, I don't think I would recommend this complex to anyone, but the apartment itself was good besides the thin walls. As I look around these days, you can tell the clientel is definitely go down hill fast. And yeah having to do the turn around to get anywhere really does suck. They need to build a bridge or a back way out over the creek some how. By the way, I looked at the new apartments behind them and they look pretty good and the prices were reasonable. Go there if you are looking for a place to live.
