This has been a living hell, second night here my truck broken into. Fourth month here naked drunks in the pool at 3:00am yelling obscenities at the top of their voices. Lawn Care Company damaging vehicles and not paying for damages. Over spray on vehicles from Painters did not pay for clean up. Management did not follow up and blew me off. Maintenance and staff come in to your apartment without any notice what so ever and this kept happening after I had complained. I came home one day and there was three strangers standing in my bedroom and one looking in my closets, no notice.
My vehicles broken into so many times I lost count, over $4,000.00 in theft and damages with no help from police or management, found out later the police call this place Crime Stone Ranch, what a shock. Drug dealers on the bottom floor and this went on for 3 months; I lived above the volleyball court and it was open 24/7 as was the pool, no help from the management.
New neighbors on the 7th month and I thought he was a weight lifter from the banging around and loud music 24/7 can?t stand rap. Then one night he and his male companion came in at 3:45 and was urinating in the breezeway, no help from management, this guy was so loud the guy that lived below him moved ASAP. And my neighbor still lives here. After three months I tried to break my lease but was told it would cost me over $5,000.00 to move, I wish I would have paid them just so I could sleep at night the next nine months. Never seen so many gang bangers and punks in one place. Dog sh_t everywhere, watch your step. Should have looked at this place at night before I rented, big change. If I had to rate this place I would put it some were just above a dive or section 8. Maintenance was good and they have a new manager and things could change, but so far it?s the same. Things to do before you rent.
Check with police Dept.
Look at the complex at night.
Don?t let the leasing agents BS you, do your home work,
Talk to someone that lives there.
This is what I would have done if I had the time.

You know I have lived at this property since October of 2004 and I live near the front. I have had NO trouble and actually think it's a great place to live. Landscaping, mgrs, maintance, and parking have been great. In regards to gang bangers and drug dealers... nope. Haven't see 'em. In regards to drugs and drunks in the pool, the APD monitor the property at least once a day everyday. The pools are now closed @ 10pm everynight and the night managers walk the property until 12am.
Sucks to hear you had such a bad experience. Dog sh_t seems to get cleaned up... and it's legal for maintance or mgrs to enter the property. Technically they own the place and give you notice as a courtesy. Better luck next time.
