I always move into an apartment with an open mind. By the looks of it, Limestone Ranch looked like an incredible apartment community, I was sadly mistaken. The office staff is by far the most horrible, inconsiderate people that I have ever met in my life. The 'limited access' gates were not working for about 7 months at one point. By Texas Tenant Law, usually apartments have about 7 days to fix needed repairs. 7 months was a ridiculous amount of time. Then, someone threw a rock and broke our back sliding glass door. The apartments did not fix it for 2 weeks. They didn't understand why we thought that this was a security issue. (we lived on the 1st floor). Last, and probably the most important thing is the 'Doggie Run'. Limestone Ranch tells all of their residents that animals are not allowed to defecate on the property. They have a designated field, called the Doggie Run. We took our 2 dogs out their in the beginning, but then we started to see snakes. Being a hard core dog lover, I was not going to risk one of my dogs being bitten by a snake. My boyfriend works for the state and went onto a website and work and through some researching, found out that the so called 'Doggie Run' was not even Limestone Ranch's property, it was another company's. My boyfriend called them to let them know what was going on and they were appaled by the fact that this apartment complex was telling their residents that their pets HAVE to defecate on this property. Well, owning company called Limestone and gave them an earful. Eventually, the 'doggie run' signs were down and unfortunetly, the apartment knew that it was us who did the investigating. I got home from work one night and we had an eviction notice on the door. I want you to please take this to heart and I want you to know that we were incredible tenants. We had rent in the office by the 1st of EVERY month. We were never late. When I called the apartment manager, I told her 'that I knew why she was doing this and it's because we did our homework and got them in trouble'. She literally told me 'Yes, that is why I am evicting you, but no one else will know that but you and I'.

We have attorneys working on this right now and hopefully things will work out in our favor. In the meantime, we are packing up our stuff and leaving as fast as we can. I urge you to please think twice before you do this.

My sister and I checked out this complex last year and it gave us such a bad feeling that we said no way. If this review had been up then we would have known why.
