Limestone Ranch was an excellent choice for me. Price wise it was the best value in the surrounding area. The make ready was perfect, maintenance staff professional and timely and the management was extremely friendly and cooperative. The surrounding neighbors were a mix of families, students, single adults, 20 somethings, couples, etc.

As for the layout, I had the larger of the 2/2 and this type of layout is really hard to come by in Austin - it is the ideal layout for roommates. Last time I checked, their rates were less than just about any other place as many are charging $1 per square foot. It's also very convenient to shopping and employers. In response to the Crimestone Ranch posting, I asked the one officer I saw why they were at the complex and it turned out to be a response noise from a kid skateboarding, please, where's the crime in that'

The only thing that was less than ideal was the neighbor with cement blocks for feet who moved into the apartment above me during the last 2 months of my lease. I could have complained, but I was already planning on moving to something more permanent (condo).

All in all, if you asked the staff to have things fixed, it was done in about 2 days time and they were always available to answer questions and made the move out process extremely smooth.
