I think that every complex as some issues at some point or another. Whether it's management, tenants, maintenance or a combination thereof. With that said, I am moving from Lincoln Oaks soon. I've rented here on a short-term lease and decided I want to share my experience since I've been here. It is MY experience and I do not discount what other's opinions are of this place. Take my opinion for what it's worth.

The Good: Personally, my experience with the assistant manager, Brenda was great. I have experienced nothing but positivity from her and when fell apart for me, she still did her job, but had a heart and was quite sensitive to my situation. I will never forget her for that. Never. Trish is cool. Both Brenda and Trish have a laid back style that made me and my children very comfortable here. My apartment is a bit pricey for a 1/1 but I knew coming in. It was in good, clean condition when I moved in. I've had no problem with bugs other than the occasional fly when I leave my patio door open.

The Bad: There have been, unbeknownst to me until neighbors told me, a crime problem here. The severity of it seems to depend on who you talk to. At this point, *knocks on wood* there has been nothing in my section of the complex.

The Ugly: Yes, a woman was found dead in the pool. I had NO IDEA about that prior to moving in and in fact, really only found out about it in March of this year. Sad and very scary. In January, someone was beaten with a hammer in the face. Scared the living crap out of me especially since I have kids. From what I've heard, there have been a couple of drug raids here too. This is not a good image and I think the owners of the property really need to do something about the security for the complex.

Lastly, as I write this, I am still living here and would recommend this place but with caution. I am a real tenant, not a manager or in any way affiliated with management. I'm really hoping for a smooth transition out of here without trumped extra fees added. I have never left an apartment dirty and do not plan on doing it here. If they give me a hard time after my departure, I will certainly come back to write a follow-up. But for now, I'm leaving here feeling Lincoln Oaks, with all it's problems with security issues, is a decent place to live.

P.S. I'm on the first floor and rarely hear my neighbors upstairs. Ok, while in the bathroom, I can hear my upstairs neighbor pee, but hey, boys have more force when use it. :) aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
