Lincoln Ridge Apartments

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/26/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I have lived here since 10/05 and the first apartment I lived in flooded so I had to move into another unit. In the first apartment there were leaks under both sinks and when I sent in a request for the one in the bathroom, maintenance replaced the sink and didn't even fix the leak. Now in the ânewâ unit the air conditioner has been âfixedâ about 5 or 6 times and still does not work. They actually âfixedâ the drain pan with duct tape. When we first moved in to the 2nd unit, it smelled like cigarette smoke so they cleaned the carpet, which did no good. Management acts like they donât care and are not helpful at all. The manager is uncaring and unhelpful. I have lived in many apartments and would not wish this place on my worst enemy!! DO NOT MOVE HERE EVEN IF IT IS YOUR LAST RESORT!!! You will regret it as I do. I have a young son (under 1 year) and he has had allergy problems the whole time we have been here but when we donât stay there he has perfect health. I have no doubt there is mold and dust everywhere in these apartments. When the first apartment flooded I found mold under the paint and they dried the carpet instead of replacing it. Maintenance does not fix the problem only mend it so it breaks at a later date. Every time I call, they act like I am bothering them and that I have no reason to be complaining. Then they say âoh it will be fixed in a day or 2â but itâs usually 2-3 weeks, if ever. They think its ok to have my son in an apartment thatâs 80 degrees and act like its no big deal, when we are both sweating from the heat. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
