i had moved to austin from out of state- i had pets with me, so we needed an apartment as soon as possible. A Apartment Locators brought us to this dump. The display apartment was great, the apartment they gave us looked good at first too.
But then everything went down hill. First week living there, our car was stolen. Neighbors have ranged from heavy drug users, to groups of 5-6 young men living in a one room apartment.
We've been harassed about non-rent payments even though we've paid our rent on time every month. There are raccoons ALL OVER the place (living in the drainage ditches). There are thefts constantly. There are ant and roach infestations. There are homeless people that hop the gate (that's ALWAYS broken) and sleep in the pool area.
The pool has had broken glass in it, bottle caps, you name it. The hot tub has never worked. The "security cameras" don't work and have never had tapes in them. The work out room has been broken into and stolen from several times.
The parking is absolute crap, and the staff are completely lazy. Walk by the office any time of day, and the 19 year old at the desk (who has lost my rent check TWICE) is surfing Myspace, rather than doing any real work.
The plumbing is a joke, there's absolutely no security, and they will rent to ANYONE. and i mean ANYONE.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
