I've always taken these reviews with a grain of salt, noting that someone is probably just really angry about one thing in particular that happened to them. Please note, this is a sincere effort on this review.

I felt compelled to write this as this apartment complex has seriously changed in the almost 3 years that I have lived here. It is HORRIBLE. I used to love it, but now I can't wait to move out- literally counting the days. The one trash compactor is not maintained; a few weeks ago, there was at least another dumpster's worth of trash piled outside of it- for FIVE to SIX DAYS! I contacted the office and they said they were aware of it (in an annoyed tone) and that they were waiting on corporate (MBS). Talk about a health hazard/violation. The office staff blames corporate for a lot, but trust me, that gets really old around here and it is not worth the frustration. Maintenance staff are nice for the most part, but either do not know how to perform their jobs or corporate supposedly prevents them from doing so. My electric bills have always been insanely high here- and I keep it on 78- yes, it's like a sauna. Also, the wiring is faulty, my lights flicker often, maintenance comes after a week or so and tells me it's fixed...it's still flickering. My power even went out several times- they told me I was overheating the circuit. With a lamp, the TV, the computer, and the washer going''''' That's ridiculous! The mold on the vents is in fact painted over, so if you have allergies, prepared to be sick often.

On a good note, the apartment complex is relatively quiet and the apartments are spacious. BUT, there is very little closet space! Also, the location is great as it is within 7 minutes of every major road in Austin (I-35, Mopac, 183, and 620).

The negatives definitely outweigh the positives- there are much better places out there. The management company your apartment has really does make all the difference, so definitely do you research!
