I'm a Realtor which means I can do apartment locating. I moved in here 2 years ago. the first year was WONDERFUL! The staff (before MBS took over) was great, I loved all the girls and the maintence crew. I have recommended about 5 people here, but.....as soon as MBS took over the whole place went to hell. When I renewed the first lease I was told I would get $150 (never got it) I used to get paid within 45 days for bringing someone to the complex, I now have been waiting over 6 months. When I moved to a bigger unit the place wasn't cleaned AT ALL. My mother and aunt who were here to help me move had to clean the unit as I moved stuff in and the fridge was full of mold. The girls in the office even came and couldn't believe the condition. I have smoke alarms that have never been set up (since July), which I'm sure is a fire code violation, wonder what the tenant council would say about that. The "security" gates haven't worked in months which funny thing, provides NO security. My son and friends have found bullet casings around the complex (Hello CSI). I'm thinking this complex still probably adveritses that this complex has security gates...false advertising....since they don't freaking work! All the girls in the office who actually gave a damn about you have either left or got let go for no telling what reason. The complex can't have carpets cleaned or replace them because they don't know how to pay bills to the carpet companies. My light at my front door inside is burned out and the ceilings are too high for me to reach. I'm in a townhome style unit and the stairway is pitch black since I haven't gotten the light replaced yet, "because the bulb is on order"...hello, have they not heard of Home Depot or Lowes. If anyone in my home falls and hurts themselves because the light isn't replaced, I might be owning the complex and things will definately turn around :) Also, the weather striping is all torn up at my back door (which I put on my inventory move-in sheet, my 2nd one since they lost the first)so that alone reeks havoc on my a/c bills!
The only positive things I can say about this
place is the location and the decor. It is very nice, if you actually get a clean unit.
Back to the negatives; the maintence staff acts like they own the place and are completely inconvenienced if you need something (it is their job; don't like it, find something else.)
To everyone who has lived here and not gotten what they paid for, wonder how hard it would be to file a class action lawsuit on safety issues, mental pain and suffering, false advertising, etc. Let's not even talk about the 1 trash dumpster that is only emptied once a week. I feel very sorry for the people who live in building 9. I hope their rent is free.
I for one will not be renewing my lease again because continuing to give these people money is ludicrous. Hey MBS and whomever owns this complex. If you don't know how to run a residential complex, you should get out of the business. To anyone reading these reviews before making a decision, contact me and I'll find you something better.

SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER SCAM ARTIST APARTMENT LOCATOR TRYING TO DIVERT RESIDENTS SO THAT SHE CAN MAKE A COMMISSION.

MBS management has a ton of lawsuites filed against them. just type in the name in google and its the first website that pops up. i dont live here but i would never live in a complex that they owned. just a tip.

If you are so unhappy then you should move. Why complain, just move! Oh wait you wont move because you are paying the price of a two bedroom apartment for your three bedroom! Get a life!
