Okay, whoa. When I was apartment hunting this place looked great. Well, appearances are deceiving. Supposedly a student community, we have entire families living in our building, complete with really noisy children. Well, I assume they are families because of said noisy children, but my upstairs neighbors seem to be running an apartment of Ill Repute-- different men go up there every night and either they are doing the deed or those kids jump on the bed all night long. We had told management about the problem-- numberous times-- and they said that these problematic neighbors were being evicted, but surprise! They're still there. The wireless internet sucks royally. It's slow and unreliable. The clubhouse often closes for no apparent reason, without any kind of information being given to us regarding WHY it's closed. I thought that when I moved into an apartment with a fitness center I could maybe use said fitness center sometimes. The computer labs are fine as long as you don't have to print anything, because the printers seem to spend a lot of time magically being broken. The community is gated, which is neat because Riverside area is all high in crime. But on my side of the complex, the gate never closes. Thanks, guys. I feel really safe.
In short, if you're looking for a ghetto apartment that doesn't live up to what it promises, there are cheaper places to go.
