Good price, but you get what you pay for. If you have the money, go somewhere better

This place is not a good place to live unless you are a ridiculous party animal and do not care about noise, safety, hygiene, or intelligent staff.

First week in the apartment we were robbed in the 20 minutes that my girlfriend and I left and my other 2 roommates got home. When I went to tell the office the girl at the counter smugly told me I should have purchased an alarm with the apartment. It took 4 days and me constantly calling to get the police to come and get the thieves fingerprints off of our window (THEY WERE CLEARLY VISIBLE.)

The people below me are constantly throwing loud parties on weekdays. I talked to them twice and now their answer is to invite us over to party. Uncannily, they always seem to throw a party the day before my early morning tests. Maybe they have my schedule?

The girls above me are cool, but the floors are so freaking thin that every night I think they are jumping around on pogo sticks, shaking my walls and windows, but when I went up, my girlfriend said she could hear me walking as well. Crappy construction.

A girl threw up in front of my window once, it has never been cleaned up. Someone also threw a large thing of organic milk all over the floor at the base of the stairs. Eventually it went rancid, but nobody cleaned it up. There is now a large stain there.

Jerkoffs are constantly putting their plastic party flyers on windshields. The problem with this is that after a single day in the hot Texas sun, the plastic flyers start to melt into the glass. I have had to scrape off 4 from my girlfriends car so far.

The mail is often delivered to the wrong apartment. My upstairs roommates were kind enough to give me all my mail they got, but your future neighbors might not be so kind.

For MONTHS, someone pulled the fire alarm almost every day. We got their car make, license plate number, room number and description, but Longhorn Landing wouldn't do anything about it. The fire alarm had had the plastic plate broken off it before I moved in, and every time the alarm was pulled I went and filed a maintenance request. Every time I got a new and unoriginal excuse: "This has already been filed.", "This isn't our responsibility", "We need to order the part", "The guy that is in charge of all these parts is busy" (AND ON THE SAME DAY), "You only have one fire alarm on your building? You must not live here then. (Yes i unfortunately do.)", and the best one : "That has already been fixed" Eventually I talked to the manager who told me it would be fixed the next day. Three days later I saw one of the maintenance guys and talked to him about fixing it. Through his bloodshot eyes I wasn't sure if he understood me, but the next day the alarm cover was replaced and nobody has pulled it since. A small victory for me. The staff (minus maintenance) was ENTIRELY unhelpful.

The internet used to be quite nice and fast although sometimes it went down. Now it is ridiculously slow. The best example is my neighbor's Xbox 360. He used to play Halo quite a bit online, and while the connection was sometimes slow, it was usually very nice. Now, he cannot even play a game online because if he does he lags so much he can barely keep up with the game.

The utility package is also pretty ridiculous. I know that sometimes in the summer you might end up paying around $150 for a house in Texas, but this place charges $75 for each person in a 4B. That is TWICE what we should be paying!

The only nice thing I can really say is that the cable television always works, and we have only had to relight the heater 3 times.

I have lived here for about 6-7 months, and I cringe every time I give these jerks more of my money.
