Let me start by saying that I read some of these reviews before moving into these apartments and disregaurded them becuase I thought no apartment complex could possibly be this bad...well it is. I have been living at Longhorn Landing for about 4 months now, and it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I feel extremly unsafe and noone who works there seems to care about what the needs of the residents are or if the residents are safe. It is impossible to get any sort of service from people who work in the office, even the office manager, ------, who all ways seems to be on the phone or away at lunch. I am currently unable to speake with her, or wait to speak with her...my only option is to leave her a message, which I already did 2 hours ago which was not returned.

I have had many problems with this complex I will put them in a nutshell.

1. My patio has been infested with birds since the day I moved in 4 months ago. This includes actual birds and the facts that it is covered in bird poop. This has not been fixed by the complex dispit the fact that I have talked to them about 20 times about it.

2. My bike was stolen from my property.

3. My car was broken into on the property...and several things were stolen from my car even though they claim to have a gated community with security gaurds.

4. Also, I was locked out of my apartment due to the fact that my car was being fixed and I gave them my keys, and emergency maintence refused to let me into my apartment and told me call a locksmith to get in.....This just seems unfavumable to me.

I have had one of the worst experiences of my life at this complex...I am not a student, I am an adult with a job and a degree. I don't feel as though I should be treated like an idiot by people who do not know how to do their job or run an apartment complex

Wow you gave your house keys to the car repair place and somehow that is the apartment's fault. And they treated you like an idiot? Weird. What was that degree in? Certainly not English.

I hated living there to! And you're totally right about the whole never seeing ------ thing! I had to pay back all of the offers that they gave me at the beginning of the year in order to move out!

Yes, while my degree was not in english, it is in Sociology..Meaning I know how people work, and this place does not treat people well. It is just looking for those that they can ---- over. I will say that I wrote this review several months ago and have since moved out. Things did get a bit better in the last few months of my living there. I think there may have been new management. PS I did give my keys to the guys who were fixing my car, it was on the same ring as my car key, that's really just a simple mistake when you are having to deal with so much.
