Living Here Directly Puts Your Safety and Sanity at Risk

Still today, any mention of 'Longhorn Landing' instantly generates anger and resentment. Whenever asked for advice on where to stay, I first advise to avoid the Riverside area, but this complex especially, as it is simply a melting pot for thugs, irresponsible and unmotivated students, and middle aged residents who have no business in 'student living.' This is enough to deter any sensible individual, but easily the worst part about Longhorn Landing is the management and office. The low level resident-employees could care less and are incompetent at best, and managers are condescending, haughty, and never there for more than two months before a new slick character comes in. To save a long story, I was charged for 12 months when I was there 11 due to a vague provision in the lease, so be aware if you dare to consider this place. To top it off, they are perhaps the worst in using lowbrow tactics to lure students.
