They say washer and dryer in every unit when actually they're beginning to charge a monthly rental fee. I am hurt because I moved here from another city. While searching the internet for a place to stay in Austin, I was attracted to Longspur Crossing because they had a washer and dry in every unit. I feel strongly that any fees connected to the washer and dryer should've been already included in the rent. These apartments are beginning to nickel and dime us to death with fees such as extermination, water bill, and trash bill. These fees should already be included in the rent. They also have a non-functional work out facility, it is out of order more than it is up and running. Most apartments have activities such as happy hour on Fridays, family gatherings and etc. but not this apartment. I feel this would be great so that the neighbors can get to know each other and the office staff better. But I think that this office staff treats many of their residents as if we are illiterate. By hanging Big signs on the door stating that you have an outstanding balance for an water bill that is not due for another 3 or 4 days. I feel that when they do something like that it is an insult to my intelligence and I am well educated with a great job . I felt that I needed to mention that so that they will know that everyone is not stupid and some of us do know our rights as tenants. I am only here because at the time I moved here I didn't know Austin. However I feel that they're going to lose most of their good paying renters because they lack professional behavior. And the person that stated they loved this place must have been friends of the manager are the manager wrote it herself.
