Not the best

Definitely not the best Austin has to offer. If all you want is a lot of space for a reasonable price, this is the place for you. If you want quality and safety, don't move here. I moved here from Ohio and had half a week to look for an apartment and the neighborhood 'seemed' nice and quiet during my visit. I have come to find that this area is very congested due to the nearby shopping, I hear loud music and ice cream trucks throughout the day, and no one puts care into the care of the property. Prime example, part of the fence next to the shopping center was torn down in July and it is now August and no one has fixed it. Even the staff seemed not to be aware of this when asked and gave no date as to when it would be repaired. I was told by a police officer in this area, that "this was not a safe area" after I had moved in. My husband even had a strange man follow him while walking to a nearby fast food restaurant demanding money. The main office opens up when they want, and follows up on complains when they feel like it. Rundberg Rd - how can i say this politely...crackheads, prostitutes, beggars, and strange men asking to clean your windshield at 6am. Heck no! All I can say it, keep driving....
