This place is a pit. The eprson who wrote the glowing review just moved in, and has not yet encountered the CONSTANT B--SH-- that comes with living at the Lorrain. The people in the managment office are all nice--until you move in and you ned something fixed. I have to call AT LEAST twice to get anything fixed, even if it's August and it's your AC that is out. They have a rat problem in the walls and celiing that they cannot control--and aren't much interested in controlling.

It takes about a week for maintence request to be filled--and that's if you bug them. Then they do a half-@ssed job. The people in the office lie constantly about what they have and have not repaired. THe trash dumpster always overflows and the tenants just pile the garbage around it. Managment has received NUMEROUS complaints about this issue and we ahve asked for additional garbage pick ups, but they just enevr call you back or reply about that. Oh, did I mention they never answer the phone and speak to you directly' And when you do talk to them, they are defensive and hateful and accuse you of lying. Why would I lie that my AC isn't working'

It's bad, and I'm moving. I've lived here for 8 years mostly becuase I hate to move and I'm lazy. But I've had enough. They are raising my rent--which I have REFUSED to allow them to do for 8 years due to the crappy, crappy service that they KNOW they deliver, but I'm done.

The few students here are noisy, selfish pigs. Although most of the people here are in their 30's and 40's, and are quiet and nice.

I agree that this is a noisy apartment complex. The noisiest complex I've ever lived in. The two guys above me play their stereo all night long and there are frequent parties here lasting into the night with people yelling obscenities and throwing beer bottles over the railing.
