i think they've gone under new management because i haven't encountered too many of the problems mentioned in the previous reviews, like rats.

they've recently been raising their prices b/c of their new "renovations". ie-the exterior: repainting the exteriors, fixing the potholes, repainting the parking spot lines, landscaping. all of this deals with the exterior, which i could care less about (well, maybe the potholes). the complex is well-lit at night. that's pretty important for me, since the neighborhood behind the complex is not all that nice. as for the interior, i share a 2/2. the floorplan is awesome, lots of square feet. we got new carpet when we first moved in.

noise. the walls are fairly transparent. i can hear our neighbors blasting their tv's and music (i'm no different, so i can't really complain). for some reason, the main door to the apartment slams really loud. i can hear 1st floor's door slam as well.

management/maintenance. the maintenance guys are very helpful and nice, but they take a while to come, unless it's an "emergency." it took them around 2 weeks to come fix the problems we had when we first moved in. but then again, it only took 2 days for the pesticide people to come when we found ants. management is very helpful...in person. if you leave a message after hours, they usually don't return your calls. if you want things done and questions answered, it's better if you talk to them in person.

on a side note-ice cream trucks. i live in the back of the complex (which faces the shady neighborhood area), and everyday the ice cream man comes and music blares all over. it's nice and cute for the first couple of times. until i realized that there are about 3 different ice cream trucks with different music that come. after a while, it get's annoying. i don't really think they're selling ice cream....maybe drugs'
