Ok, so I know budget is an issue in college (it certainly was for me), but this place is not worth it at all...and it's not even that affordable.

First, the staff itself is clueless. Aside from smoking up and drinking with some drug-dealing residents, they have no clue about customer service or the real estate business. Pretty much, they're just students trying to make some money. They never have answers to questions regarding the lease or maintenance. They always get things wrong, including: charging twice for rent (if you pay online with credit card), accidently giving my roommate and I an eviction notice (they sent it to the wrong apartment), and a charging us rent up to three months AFTER we moved out!!

Futhermore, the Cameron Road area is not safe at all. After I moved in, I looked online to see how many "sexual predators" there were on a website, and the Cameron Road area had over 20-30 per square mile.

My car never got broken into, but it was flooded in the parking lot. There were a series of thunderstorms in Fall '04, and my car was flooded to right above floor panel, so my entire car was filled with oily, dirty water with leaves and other debris. This might sound like nature's fault, but it was the drainage system in the area. Obviously, my car was not the only one.

Lots of roaches, BIG ones, all around the wooden pikes and stairs.

I don't recommend this property at all, or any property owned by this management (which I believe is Chelsea something or other...they own the property next door, too).

Since then, I've moved to Far West, and I truly love it here. Very quiet, lots of serious students, no noise problems, close to MoPac and several shopping centers. Take my advice!
