I stayed at at these apartments for 2 years while going to UT and I had a very good experience. When we moved in, the apartment we had signed the lease for was still occupied, so the office upgraded us to a larger appartment for the same price. They even let us keep that price when we signed our lease for the next year. They also let us keep our apartment over the summer even though we were not in town by paying a "storage rent" which was lower than the regular rent. We had no problems while we lived there except for some occasional noise, which is normal in an apartment complex. I recommend living on the 3rd floor, which is quieter. The apartment complex is safe but the area is a little sketchy. I definitly would not go running in the neighborhood at night. I took the shuttle to UT, which took about 10-15min and was totally worth it because you know how parking at the university is.
