I was put off by a rate increase at my old complex. I really wish I'd have just bitten the bullet and taken the increase. Life here has been rather horrible from the first week I got here.

The office staff is slow and vapid and the management can be curt and rude if you happen to differ in opinion on anything. They provide last-minute notices for maintainence or inspections and then never adhere to the times they post -- sometimes coming days later (which is a violation of the lease).

I'd move, but you can read here the horror stories of being charged large sums of money upon departing, even for petty things like photographs. It appears I'm going to have to save up just to stop paying them money.

The parking is a nightmare, too. At my old complex I could arrive at 3am and have parking within a moderate walking distance of my apartment. Here, I have to park three buildings over if I come in past 2am. That's a great thing on rainy nights...

If I could do it all over again, I'd be anywhere but here.
