Since I'm apparently signed up for updates on reviews for these apartments, I've read the recent reviews and allegations of made-up reviews. I'll add my experience to the fray...
This was easily one of the best apartment experiences I've had out of the 8 apartment complexes I've lived at in Austin (not quite the best, but up there). Office staff was ALWAYS friendly and quick to respond to requests - I only had a couple maintenance needs in the year I was there, and the maintenance staff was quick and thorough. Grounds were well kept, and for the most part, neighbors were friendly and never got loud. I'm sure parking availability varies depending where in the complex you live, but I was almost always able to park very close to building 5 without paying for one of the covered spots.
My only complaint was the manager's total unwillingness to negotiate on the month-to-month fees. I'd still be there into this summer, but I just couldn't stomach paying an extra $200/month when there are vacant apartments in the complex (I could understand the extra cost if everything was taken and in high demand.) Poor business decision and their loss.
I'm not sure about all the accusations of leasing agents smoking pot in their own apartments (that'd just be shocking, shocking in this town), but I also don't care in the least. They were always helpful and friendly. I think "Anonymous" needs to grow up and stick to relevant and legitimate complaints if they actually have any.

Such a pathetic effort..... This is too much! 5 GOOD reviews! Hahaha I want to know if the manager gets a bonus from Northland if her apartment ratings are high. Or, Stone Creek is losing leases because of ALL the OTHER BAD Reviews.

Actually due to the fact that Apartment ratings.com is a place for opinion and everyone has one; we do not base our customer service and outstanding maintenance team on these reviews. Unfortunatley we can not make everyone happy if we could this would be a perfect world. If we have done something to upset you anonymous I as the manager would like to take this opportunity to set up an appointment to meet with you. This is getting very rediculous and we take pride in our residents and these alligations are just that, an opinion. We have many residents that are very happy living here actually since Northland took over we have had nothing but compliments, unless of course someone did not want to follow the rules. IF these aligations you claim are true, I would like proof and if you can not provide proof then you are commiting slander. I suggest that you anonymous take this into consideration and either stop this nonsense or meet with me. Thank you.
