Hello, I am the manager at MSC and would like this opportunity to welcome you to this web site. Unfortunately there are many complaints on this web site for EVERY apartment community in the United States. I would like to remind everyone that there is always a reason why people take the time to complain. Not all of us are the same and want the same things. It takes different things to set people off. If everyone took the bad in life and never experienced things themself then we would be missing something in life. I can not help what people write on this site but I can be the first to tell you that we REALLY care about our residents and our maintenance team is very outstanding. If you have any questions or concerns about moving here please take the time to come and visit us first and make up YOUR OWN mind. I have learned after being in this industry for over 15 years that you can not make everyone happy. There are things that our out of our control like the parking spaces for instance, but this is everywhere. I can tell you that the different types of complaints come from people who have damamged an apartment and thought they could just walk away and never be responsible. I know me personally, I like to sleep peaceful at night and I always follow the rules and treat everyone fairly, because of that I have made some people very upset. In the defense of all apartment communities around the world before you base your decision on moving or not by what these reviews say, you should really consider the source. Again we are here and want you to feel welcome, our doors are always open and we would love to assist you in making Madison at Stone Creek your next home.

I beg to differ. This was the first apartment I lived in when I moved to Austin and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I've already posted my terrible experience with this complex, but there IS a reason why so many people feeled compeled to write thiese complaints. Yes the complex and units are nice, but it is the people in the office who make this place so bad. There are many complexes on this site with great reviews, live at one of them. MSC NOT "fair" by any means.

I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish by your review as the manager. Hopefully you are the new manager and not the infamous other manager from my time there 2005-2006. The office staff when I was there truly was under-qualified. They never seemed to know what was going on. In fact, as I was sitting at a desk with one of the staff signing paperwork to leave for the last time, a telephone call came in. Of course he took it. He then looked at me and asked what day rent checks are due. That's right, the office staff was asking me, a tenant, when rent is due. Parking, horrible. Several times a week I had to park near the front office and walk across the little bridge to building 12. Many times I would see tenants that I know have garages parking in the general lot. Not illegal, of course, but if he won't park in his garage or in the space outside his garage and then takes "my" space, I ended up walking. I was charged $15 because they said my front entry was dirty. The 3'x3' tile entry was dirty? How is that, considering that my wife and I cleaned the entire apt before we left. Oh, that's right, the office staff did the final walkthough when we weren't there. I could go on, but overall, they always seemed unprofessional and uncaring. And yes, manager, people will post their opinions.

It is not ethical, as a manager to review your place of business since this website is intended for tenants to review properties. You have a conflict of interest. It is incredibly unethical and violates the spirit of this site.

It??s certainly not unethical since she made it clear that she was representing the property. Although this is clearly the reason why Mngmt needs to keep their opinions off these types of sites, excessively sensitive tenants feel violated (amazing!). I work in the apt. industry in Houston and my sister just moved in here, I certainly hope her stay goes well. Frankly many of these complaints are standard policy to this business across Texas. If they want to check to see if you have a pet they can, you don??t own the place you??re all renters. I will admit some of these complaints have validity, but if you want consistent positive results to your own pissing and moaning, go buy a house!
