I've lived here for 5 years and have been fortunate to have very good interaction with management and fast response to maintenance requests. The bathrooms in the apartments are partially carpeted (gross) and I made a deal with the manager and they took out the carpet and tiled the whole bathroom before I moved in - I paid part of the cost - well worth it, and a good example of the kind of cooperation I have gotten from management. My rent actually went down after my first lease expired because the apartment market was wide open for renters; now it's creeping back up but is still $50/month less than when I first leased here.
The grounds are beautiful and maintained very well. The views are spectacular. I love the layout of my apartment (if it only had one more closet...). It is QUIET. I had next door neighbors for a while who liked to throw parties and I could only hear their music if their front door from mine was open.
It's time to renew my lease and I decided to look around just in case I might find something I liked better. So far, nothing has measured up. These reviews are very helpful in that process. One place I was considering (a very expensive complex) had a lot of complaints about noise from adjoining apartments - the one thing I cannot bear. So I appreciate this site! And I'll be staying where I am.
