The Madison at the Arboretum is the worst "luxury" apartment complex that I have ever lived in. The fixtures and apartments are very old, and the recent renovation they advertise occurred over 5 years ago. At night, the complex is very noisy with college student parties, making it difficult to sleep almost any night of the week. In addition, the Madison at the Arboretum has had frequent issues with criminal activity since the new management took over, and it is not uncommon to see the police responding to the property. We even have a regular peeping tom that has been caught looking into the windows of various units, making me feel uncomfortable with even leaving my blinds open. If you are considering living in this part of Austin, avoid the Madison at the Arboretum, there are many other luxury apartment complexes nearby that are cheaper, safer and quieter.
