Madison still ruining my life

I signed a year lease. I moved out within three months. I didn't stay at the apartment except for the first month. I gave notice and paid them $2700 total to move out. As a single mother, this hurt me financially. Then, a month later, I recieved a bill in the mail for an additional $1300, which they accredited to the ruined carpet. Less than 700 square feet of medium quality carpet apparently costs $1300 in their world. Not to mention that there were no stains on the carpet when I moved out. The management staff were rude, and even verbally abusive. One woman said that they had "photographic proof" of the damage. When I asked the obvious "How can you prove that the photos are of my previous apartment'" They hung up on me.
In the past 13 years that I have been renting, I have never been late on rent, and I always get back most or all of my security deposit.
This was the only property that I had issues with. Now, this $1300 is on my credit report, and I cannot rent an apartment.

I don't know who this person is, but that properties policy to break a lease is just double their rent as a fee and there's not a one bedroom apartment that's $1350. Is it possible that the person got the Madison's mixed up? There are 4 other apartment communities that start with Madison.
