Going Downhill

I've lived here for a long time (nearly 3 years) and was very happy until the past six months or so. This complex is really starting to go downhill in my opinion. I am in agreement with the previous poster about the bugs (I guess they don't exterminate the grounds anymore'), the parking, and the "inspections," and the constantly changing office staff. Also, I have noticed some sketchy characters hanging out in the common areas and in front of the buildings at night. I don't know if these people are residents or if they are friends of people who live there, or if they are not supposed to be here at all...who knows. I really don't like going outside by myself at night anymore. This never used to bother me, it's only been the past six months or so that I've noticed these problems.
Also, new neighbors have moved in next door and are VERY loud at midnight - 4am nearly every night! Hanging out outside, drinking beer, yelling at their girlfriends, playing their surround sound or bass so that my walls shake...not cool.
So, no I do not recommend Madison at Scofield. If you had asked me six months ago I would have said yes though so maybe they can get their act together and get back on track. I'm moving out of here in a couple of weeks and am not sad to be leaving at all.

What are you paying now, and for what size apartment?
From: Anonymous Date: 10/27/2008
$870/month (includes a garage) for a 1 bed/ 1 bath. I think the new renters are getting the same apartment for around $675-700 right now (that would be without a garage).

Agree with the orignal reviewer, since the Equity sold this property to Northland in August 2008, everything going downhill, from sketchy characters hanging out to the badly maintained landscape. Everything going CHEAP, watch out when they try to get any penny out of you!
