My daughters live at this complex and have made multiple complaints to the management with regards to noise complaints. One can expect you will hear some noise coming for adjacent apartments but this is not just a little noise. I've even been there and the noise in the apartment above them is like none I've ever heard in an apartment. It sounds like the people above are constantly moving furniture across the floor or running - and at all hours of the day and night. The nighttime noise is so loud it will wake them from sleep. We have filed numerous letters and called security and talked to management but nothing has been done to remedy this problem. Additionally, there is inadequate parking. My daughters have come home late at night and there have been no parking spaces inside the complex except for tons of covered parking (which costs extra). They have had to park their vehicle outside the complex which is not safe for them or their vehicles. The management again offered no remedy to this situation except to say get covered parking. You should not have to pay just to park at your apartment complex which you already are paying way too much. Lastly, the price for this apartment is overpriced for what you get. A friend lives next door and pays tons less and her apartment is just as nice. I would urge those considering this complex to look elsewhere.

Dec 30 - Almost 2 months since I posted this review. The noise disturbances day and night continue. Others in the same building have said they complained to management but were told it was the "first" complaint of these tenants. Total BS! They are going to do nothing about it. People come and go out of that apartment and they have had a person living there not on the lease. Parking is a continuing problem. Management says they are working on it but they told us to pay for a covered parking space. Sounds to me like Management really is working on making more mooey and not meeting tenants need for adequate free parking! WAY overpriced apartment complex. We're counting down until our lease is up!

Are we talking about Madison at Scoffield Farms on Metric? We do not have covered parking-only open parking spaces or enclosed garages. Our friends have had to park away from our apartment but never had to park outside the gates. As far as the price, there are cheaper apartments but they are smaller, no storage and no gated community. It does sound as though you have a legitimate noise complaint and I would be angry over that situation.

About the noise complaint... if it's worse at night you have to consider that you live next to a field and creatures get in above the ceilings such as opossums, raccoons, and squirrels. I've heard numerous times creatures above my apartment crawling around in the ceiling but have lived next to a field before and know the sound. It can sound like people walking around when in actuality it's creatures. The only time I've had noises leak from above into my apartment was when the make-ready people were cleaning up that apartment and it was only during the day time, and my upstairs neighbors were not the quietest as one could tell from the back porch. There is only garaged parking and normal parking spots and around the holiday season the parking lot is immensely packed, but I have never had to park outside of the apartment complex. I really enjoy this apartment complex, the office staff seems friendly to me whenever i have a question or concern, parking is bad but I don't mind too much, my car hasn't been broken into, neither my apartment, my neighbors are friendly, and for the most part it's quiet. It is expensive but for the size of the apartment you get and the location, it really isn't that bad. Quit your bitching.
