Bizarre choices with the gates

The gates in and out of the complex are not functioning with the use of the remote controls that each resident is supposed to have, so the gates stay closed. I have no reliable method for getting in and out of my parking lot. The gates open intermittently, and then everyone scrambles in the exit gate, even though that's a horribly dangerous situation creating an incredible liability for management. I'm not sure why they just don't keep an entry gate open. God forbid there is an emergency of some sort and someone needs to enter the property fast, because that isn't happening. This has been going on for months and its not the remote controls, I've changed mine out three times. This is creating a bottle-neck in the parking lot and, like I said, a potentially very dangerous situation. They need to keep a gate permanently open until they can fix the problem.
This is not an issue with the maintenance staff, they are golden. Its an issue with management. Some new broad, probably with a reputation for saving money, was brought in from another property to save this place and this was her brilliant first move. Never mind that it makes no sense in any way.

This is not the only problem with this complex and management! We've been complaining for months about noise at all hours day and night and another person in our same building complained about the same tenant. This has been going on for months and nothing is being done.
Additionally there is not enough free parking space and it is very dangerous for young females to be parking outside the gates at night and trying to get in. Not to mention it is also dangerous to leave your car parked outside the complex. Management says they are working on this issue. NOT! If you are considering this complex, I urge you to look elsewhere. You can get a better deal for your dollar and not the problems that come with this complex. As this reviewer wrote, the problems are not with the maintenance - they are fine!

I fairness to the new manager, who is a serious babe a stone cold hottie btw, the gates are now open permanently pending repair of the RF equipment. Hmmm...I wonder if she reads these things? And regarding noise, there are many things about this complex that I have enjoyed, and low noise is one of them. These walls are insanely thick. I NEVER hear my neighbors, thank god. I would recommend this place if noise is a concern. But, anonymous, I have to say that apartment dwellers should expect some noise. That's the nature of the game. Management has always been responsive to me and my concerns, I mean FAST. I'm sorry you're having trouble with noise.

The gates are fixed. If you want a gate left open live in a community that is not gated. As for other apartments, we scrutinized 14 other apartments before choosing Madison at Scofield Farms. Size of the rooms and storage are the best features of the apartments.
