I have live here at Madison at Scofield Farms for almost 2 years now. When I first moved here, Equity owned/managed these apartments. I felt I had made a good choice because of the location and eminities it offers. That is until Northland bought out the apartments and brought in new management. SINCE the new management...the gates were not working for 2 months and kept open(gated community, one reason to move here)...my neighbors apartment was broken into...my car was keyed...some kid almost ran over my neighbors dog because I had slowed down to go over the speed bump and he zoomed around me being a -------, and I had to call the police...parking is a hassel...I had a leak that took them over a month to fix...lots of shady people have been moved in....ALL of this since Northland and new management took over. I can never find parking here now...since Northland/new management took over the complex, they dropped the towing contract, so if people are double parked or parked in a handicapped space the residents have no ability to have the car towed. There was this low rided parked, taking up 3 spaces, so no one could park beside them and possibly scratch it...nothing done. The hassel I had to go through just to get them to come and fix my sink gave me more stress than anyone needs, calling day in and day out, aruging with management, no follow up, finally after a month it is fixed. There are some really great people that live at this place...the ones that moved in when the old management was here....BUT now it is like they just want to fill apartments without thinking about having quality residents...I tell you....RUN! It is becoming like the ghetto around here...LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! If you are looking for a safe, well gated, police patroled, well managed, good neighborhood you have come to the wrong place.

We recently renewed and it will likely be the last as I too have noticed a "lowering" of quality in folks moving in. I wondered when I heard all these other places were doing all sorts of deals to get folks to move in and this place was not? Guess they had the doors wide open, eyes closed to fill er up. Parking is a nightmare and no way out of this scenario unless they bought extra land around the apartment complex possibly?
