This apartment experience had its ups and downs. I lived there through the Stonegate-Madison transition and things went downhill. Though the staff was not as great as before, what made it truly worse were the people moving in. As the rates went down, so did the neighbors. The aparment itself was ok: good layout, nice appliances, but thin walls and floors. I could have sworn the person upstairs from me was a 350 lbs. brute by the annoying thumps of his footsteps, until I saw that he was some 145 lbs, dell-working geek. It made asking him to be quiet a little easier. Parking was never good, but the crime increase near the end of my stay made it worse. I had to be careful never to leave anything of value in the car. That meant carrying carrying all of my items over longer distances. However, I never felt unsafe. Management was good. No complaints, but no praises. Maintenance was good while I was there. Good people. I can only imagine how construction is affecting the place. Since I didn't have overly bad experiences and most of my problems were taken care of, I would recommend this place ... barely.
