Poor Management / Many Class action Lawsuits against Equity Residential

Was forced to move because management did not know how to read a criminal history report. When I was younger I was arrested and charged with a felony. However, I was never convicted, never went to prison, and never got a number.( a Misunderstanding) I explained this to the manager when I moved into a 1 bedroom apt alone. She understood. 4 Months later, new management comes along, I am ready to move into a bigger apartment with a roommate which shouldnt be a problem because I am currently a resident here. Me and my roommate apply for the bigger apt but I am declined because I am a felon'! I politely explained to her she was mistaken, and should read over everything again carefully, but she refused. telling me I should not be there in the first place. So I joined one of the many class action lawsuits against Equity Residential(deceptive trade practice), and as an Apt locator refuse to show any equity residential properties to my many clients. (P.S. I dont believe a convicted Felon can hold a Tx R. E. Lic. But I may be mistaken) Read what some ex employees have to say about this company, its not pretty. Unless you are prepared to deal with situations like this, and a constant shuffle of mgmt, I DO NOT RECOMMEND moving to this community.
