Ok. I've read what everyone else is saying, and although I disagree with some of it, I also agree with some too. The water does get turned off often. Is this something to expect of an older apartment' Maybe. I like our apartment, but it does have some issues. It looks like the building may be shifting so there are gaps over all of our doors. You can hear the plumbing in the walls. And anytime anyone goes up or down the stairwell, you can feel the vibration. Yes parking is a problem, but not easily fixed by anything but our neighbors parking straight and between lines (although they DO need to be repainted). I hear that there are prizes for new people moving here, but maybe the money would be better spent repainting the parking lines. The office people are ok, but not very professional. I mean, what good does dressing professionally do if you wear athletic shoes or flip flops' Also their attitudes leave something to be desired. However, that does not really effect us. We live here because we love the way our apartment is layed out and it is close to things we need. True it is not the best neighborhood, but I think it is hard to find affordable places to live in convenient and nice areas. I see no problem with moving in here, but don't expect too much.

And contrary to popular belief, no, I do NOT work in the office. How could I when the employees have changed' Duh!

And how long have you worked in the office???? I promise, any positive reviews are from the office staff.

You know you work in the office. Its completely obvious. Look at your poor excuse for a sales pitch!!!!! Must be pretty bad when you have to pretend to be tenants in order to get some.......

Wow, I completely agree with this review. Honestly, nothing here has pissed me off. I'm sorry that people don't know how to pick up after their dogs sometimes, but I've noticed that it's gotten a lot better. I just moved down here a while ago and love it. Great location bc it's easy to get to everything. Granted it isn't the best of neighborhoods, but it's not like the office staff can pick up the community and move it somewhere else. Geeze people, lighten up. Typically it is your fault that you get charged things bc you aren't paying attention. I've worked leasing before and I understand what it's like to want to please your residents but have crappy owners. From what I understand Greystar is a management company, they don't actually own the place. So it's the owners who are supposed to be providing money for maint. and fixing the pool and fixing the sprinklers and whatnot. Do a little research before you try to sound "know-it-all" and rag on people. It's a little sad.

I am moving to Austin Soon and have already paid Chelsea Regent their app fee and admin fee. Should I not sign a lease? I am working close to Down town and my husband will be going to UT. I thought this would be great because of the way they made everything sound. Does anyone have the Allure floor plan?
