I've learned from looking on this website that most people only put reviews if they have something bad to say. But this place is actually great. The only reason I'm leaving after living here for two years is because I want a washer/dryer in the apt and they don't have it in my size apt.
But that said, they got a new management team and owners in February of 2008 and it has been great. They are friendly and concerned, and in the whole time I've lived here, everything has always been fixed right away. The only problems I've had were with minor things, like light bulbs and needing my garbage disposal reset.
The electricity bill is low (40-50 bucks), and I've had no issues with neighbors or with my car, unlike when I lived in far west. The location on camino la costa is kind of separated from the neighborhood and super easy to get anywhere.
I'd definitely consider this if you want an affordable place with friendly people. Yes, it's not the most luxurious place, but it's great, and I've never seen one bug in my apt!
