I need a Kleenex as I write this review. I hate to leave Magnolia Court Apartments. Work requires I move to Dallas and I'm just beside myself with grief with not wanting to leave my home.
I've lived at Magnolia Court Apartments for a year. I've rented apartments for over 20 years and this has been my BEST APARTMENT EXPERIENCE EVER! I love the floor plan of my apartment. I love the amenities of my apartment. I am calmed by the landscaping, especially at night in the courtyard. I feel safe. The location is great. It's the management that sets this experience apart as wonderfully memorable.
The management staff at Magnolia Court is exceptionally wonderful. I marvel at the professionalism---I wish more businesses conducted business this well. They offer that unique balance of being BOTH professional and personable. I know I will be warmly welcomed with a big smile and my first name everytime I walk in the office. I feel heard when I voice a concern or question. I know if action is necessary, they will quickly take the appropriate measures. Since I talk a lot and rarely get to the point, I'm always amazed they hear me through to the end of my perspective---they are GREAT LISTENERS! They are professional, fair, happy, friendly, and quick to a reasonable solution.
"Location-Location-Location" is the realtor's mantra. Magnolia Court is so wonderfully placed near I-35, US-290, and US-183, that I can get anywhere I need easily and as quickly as traffic allows. Oddly, I forget any of these thru-ways are nearby until I'm on the feeder to US-290.
Safety is a major concern to me. I've rarely spent time wondering about my safety here. I often walk the grounds at night because it's so pretty and calming. On holidays I've noticed a police officer walking the property. I know that if I do have a concern that does not require the police, I can call the after-hours line and someone will address my concern. The car security entyr gates ALWAYS WORK--they always function as designed.
Maintenance is quick. When it got chilly last autumn, I turned on my heater for the first time of the season and discovered it didn't work. I called the management staff and within an hour a repair person knocked on my door with all the necessary tools. It was a Saturday after 5pm! That's quick! That's dedicated resident service!
I'm very aware of details and one detail that really bothers me about apartment living is the dumpster. I've lived at complexes that didn't empty the big bin enough for the activity. Every time I walk to the dumpster, I can easily throw my trash INTO the dumster! I've never taken out my trash to an overflowing dumpster since living here! The recycling center is also emptied frequently enough.
This is a very youthful democratic. Most all my neighbors are UT students. But I am not alone, there are a few neighbors over 40.
Oh! The pool! It's sooo pretty! I especially like the trees that accent the pool courtyard! The courtyard and pool are beautiful in all seasons and times of day. I really like the tress everywhere! The pool here is unusual in that it gets shade during the day from the overhanging trees. Austin is too hot to be baking without some respite from the sun. Sun, shade and beautiful pool...what a combination.
Well, I'm done. I'm annoying complete about eveything, so I better stop now. My conclusion is that this is the best apartment living experience in my 20 years of renting. I hate to move. I hope I get relocated back to Austin so I can move back to Magnolia Court. Tootlz, Marcia
